Contacting the Winner

Shopify & Admin Portal

After drawing a winner, the steps below should be followed by the Raffle Manager to confirm whether the winning ticket was purchased as a gift.

1. In the Admin Portal generate the Raw Transaction/Raw Data report

2. Copy the Order Id associated with the winning ticket.

• Use the winning ticket number to search in the Raw Transaction/Raw Data report and find the Order Id

3. In Shopify, under Orders, search the Order Id identified in the previous step.

4. On the order, under Additional Details check if “is_gift” is set to “true” 

• If true, under Additional Details, confirm recipient’s name and phone number (if available).

• If the ticket was purchased as a gift, note that the buyer's information is recorded as the Customer in Shopify.

• If false, the ticket buyer also represents the ticket owner and the name and phone number in the Admin Portal Raw Transaction/Raw Data report is representative of the winner.
