Find Audience Name, Segments and Lists - Mailchimp and Constant Contact

This guide will help you integrate your Mailchimp or Constant Contact account to your Velocity account.   

Mailchimp – Find Audience & Segment Name

Finding the Audience Name

1. Log in to your Mailchimp account.
2. From the top menu, click Audience.
3. If the account has more than one audience, use the Audience drop-down to select the relevant one.

Finding the Segment Name

1. In Mailchimp, navigate to the Audience > Segments menu.
2. A table will be shown with all the accounts saved segments. An example is shown below showing 2 segment names.

Constant Contact – Find List Name

1. Log in to your Constant Contact account.
2. From the left navigation menu, click Audience > Lists & segments 
3. Identify the desired list. An example of a List Name is highlighted in the screenshot below.

Tips & Considerations

• Ensure you’re working in the correct audience/list: many accounts have multiple audiences or lists, so selecting the right one is essential.
• If you are unsure whether your UI matches the documentation (updates happen frequently), refer to the Help or Support sections of Mailchimp or Constant Contact.
