Set a Seed Or Guarantee For an Event

Before setting up a seed or guarantee for an event let's define what each of these are:

Seed: Is money typically left over from a previous draw being added immediately into the pot. If a seed of $1000 is set for instance, the very first sale the pot will jump. If there was a $20 sale the pot would jump to $1020.

Guarantee: This is when the pot is being set so that no matter what that is going to be the minimum prize. If a guarantee is set at $1000 the pot will not move until the guarantee is exceeded.

To set a seed or guarantee up on an event follow these instructions:

1. When on the event setup scroll down to starting pot options
2. Insert the starting pot amount
3. Toggle seed or guarantee

NOTE: This cannot be done once an event is live. Also please ensure your jurisdiction allows events to use a seed or guarantee.
