SELF – EXCLUSION
Self-exclusion allows customers to voluntarily remove their purchasing ability from raffles operated in their state.
For raffles operated in a state where self-exclusion lists are maintained, it is the raffle managers responsibility to update their customer list in Shopify to record customers who have self-excluded. When this action is performed, if a customer attempts to create an account or complete a purchase with the self-excluded email Id, Shopify will block the transaction.
Customer profiles are imported to Shopify via a CSV. This can be done by performing the steps below.
- Login to Shopify store.
- Log self-excluded customers in Shopify's CSV template.
- Click on the Customers tab on the left-hand side.
- Click on the Import button on right-hand side.
- Located your self-excluded file and select the Add file button in the pop-up that appears.
